Course Details

Description

Minecraft, the top selling video game of all time, is an amazing way for learners to come together to make friends, have fun, and learn about Judaism. Minecraft’s building blocks provide the substance to create whatever a person may desire. In this course, the Minecraft universe will be a place to build around a series of Jewish holidays. Students will participate in a series of fun, collaborative activities that incorporate Jewish educational themes around the holidays, history, and Israel.

Requirements

Computer or Laptop needed to download Minecraft Java edition.

Teacher

Naomi Epstein (she/her)

Naomi Epstein is the Minecraft Administrator and a member of the Minecraft counselor team at Lost Tribe Esports. She has led several previous Lost Tribe Esports Minecraft programs and has been an active Minecraft player for the past seven years. As a recent college graduate, Naomi loves that Lost Tribe Esports’ Minecraft programs are both a change of pace as well as an opportunity to share one of her favorite hobbies with the next generation. Her goal is for every participant to have lots of fun and enjoy the one-of-a-kind Lost Tribe experience.
