CAMERA ON! 5…4…3…2…1…ACTION!

Were you always fascinated by animation? You have so many great ideas for a new movie? Or maybe you wanted to know how to bring your creativity to another level? Want to integrate Hebrew into your budding film career?

Did you know that animation movies were the first movies ever to be made? And did you know that “animation technique” was discovered by accident during a horse ride? There are a lot of ways to use animation movies to express ideas that you can’t do otherwise.

In this experiential class we will learn filming and shooting and animation movie techniques using our own personal technology (smartphones, Ipads, tablets, and more). This workshop is for everyone that has at least one of the instruments mentioned above. This course doesn’t require any previous knowledge.

Class 1: Learn different techniques for shooting stop motion movies using the Stop Motion Studio app. Choose your favorite Hebrew expression or quote from a given list and begin to produce our own movie.

Class 2: Share rough drafts from our movies with one another.

Class 3: Fine tuning our movies. Upload our personal animated movie to Youtube.

Requirements
Besides the gadgets listed in the "supplies" section, each student will be connected to our virtual class using another computer or any other instrument.
Supply List

We will use any objects we have at home that can be moved in order to make our films.

Example: We can use Legos or fruits to make short movies.

So bring whatever you want to use in order to create a believable story.

Each student will need to have at least one of the following gadgets in home:
