Parenting for Resilience: Helping Children Thrive
Like all parts of Jewish life, parenting in community strengthens us. In this webinar we’ll use a Jewish lens to discuss milestones of parenting young children as we gain insights from experts in early childhood development.
Resilience is defined as the ability to withstand adversity. Resilience allows us to bounce back after setbacks, to manage stress and to thrive despite difficulties. Resilience is a capacity that can be nurtured and tended to: in ourselves and in our children. In this workshop we will explore practical ways that we can cultivate resilience in our young children and equip them to flourish in an uncertain world. This program is for families with children ages 5 and under.
Presented in partnership with Project SEED and the Westchester Jewish Community Services.
