Description

Grab your markers because we’re going to doodle. Inspired by ancient illuminated manuscripts, we are going to create beautiful works of art based on Hebrew words. The best part - you don’t have to know any Hebrew OR think you’re “good” at art. This course is for everyone! You’ll learn (and remember) the Hebrew words for love, peace, home, thanks, and more - all while creating art to hang on your wall or mail to your friends.

Class 1: Hello, Goodbye, and Peace (Shalom) & Love is All You Need (Ahavah).

Class 2: An Attitude of Gratitude (Todah) & Listen Up (Shema).

Class 3: Building a world of love (Chesed) & Justice, Justice shall you Pursue (Tzedek).

Requirements
We will be doodling! Make sure you have room for your art supplies.
Supply List
  • Paper (I use heavy art paper, but any plain paper will work)
  • A black marker for outlines
  • Colors (I use markers but crayons or pencils will work)
  • A placemat or other cover for your workspace (in case your markers bleed through your paper)
