Joel Chasnoff
Joel is a former IDF Lone Soldier and author of multiple best-selling books about Israel, including the memoir The 188th Crybaby Brigade about his experience as a tank gunner in the Israeli army, the cookbook Balaboosta which he co-wrote with Israeli chef Einat Admony, and the aforementioned and recently released Israel 201. A Chicago native, Joel attended the Solomon Schechter Day School in Skokie, Illinois, and Jewish summer camps in the American Midwest. Audiences across the spectrum of Jewish and Israel knowledge find Joel’s take on Judaism and Israeli life uplifting, positive, and hilarious.
